The Mazda MX-30 EV will be offered in two trim levels in 2022: MX-30 EV and Premium Plus. Mazda's design and elaborately carved body will be used on the upcoming SUV. The Mazda MX-30 is powered by a 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery and an AC Synchronous e-SKYACTIV® Electric motor. This engine generates 143 horsepower and a whopping 200 pound-feet of torque. The MX-30's motor provides a sporty driving experience while significantly lowering your long-term costs. For example, the MX-30 is expected to get 98 MPG in the city, 85 MPG on the interstate, and 92 MPG overall.

A floating center console allows more storage behind a digital screen that regulates the Mazda MX-30 EV's climate-control system in 2022.
Mazda has teamed with ChargePoint to provide convenient charging stations across the country. Later in 2022, a hybrid version will be released. Mazda MX-30 EV owners will also receive a $7,500 federal tax credit, a $500 ChargePoint Charging Credit toward purchasing a ChargePoint® Home Flex charging point or charging at any public ChargePoint station in the United States, and an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty.
